If someone is smarter to get his way ahead of me, it is good for him/her. I cannot blame my status on someone else's intelligence/ smartness. If I do not know how to play the game, it is my problem (it actually is, hence I am stuck). But that is OK. I am happy the way I am.

Guys do not feed the freeloaders by telling anything you are reading in the donor forum. Let these people help themselves by signing up for recurring contributions if they want helpful nformation about their EB2 PD movemement. We are still not meeting of our advocacy day amount. It is all because most people want free lunches. This needs to stop. The 200 people going to DC tomorrow are going to speak for you and me for yours and mine greencard. They are taking time off and spending own money for you and me. Nothing is free in this world. IV is also doing this for you and me and we are taking it for granted. In reality How USCIS divide 28.6% among countires - That is unknown mystery and nobody surely know that. And that is why I had to assume "equal shares - 5 part" in my analysis assuming USCIS works fairly but we all know that is a bullshit too :)

This is a very simple calculation. Following are the numbers before Oct -2006. These total to ~ 12K.
EB2-C - 3521
EB2-I - 9345
The dates will move further if more than 12K numbers are infused into the system. I would say that the dates should be in Oct - Nov 2006 range with these 12K numbers, having Nov as buffer as they may issue RFE's to folks.

Look up Bait and Switch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bait_and_switch). If vonage intends to suddenly switch their offerings after gaining customers through misleading ad - then it fits the definition of Bait and Switch - which is clearly illegal in US.
So even if you leave aside the bad reputation from such a maneuver (which, in itself would be huge since their target consumer base is clearly immigrants - most of whom are savvy consumers) - Vonage may stand to lose a lot from legal fees and penalties if they try to pull such a trick. Class actions are not fun in US.

we are giving USCIS options on how to deal with the campaign.
If they really do forward the flowers they need to think about seperating notes from flowers.
They will pay a smaaaaaaaall amount to delivery guys who will strip all notes and that's it. Or they could say "it's gov. necessity' to remove a message from bucket, and it will be free. :(

Most of what Hunter has said is not wrong. Exploitation and malpractices by small/big consulting companies is a reality. All of the Indian immigrants know it. Indian workers submit to it because it still is a very good bargain.
But then there are other things that he is simply stereotyping because of personal impact and resulting hatred. Generally implying that foreign workers are crap and cause wage depression isn't true. Wages in IT industry are destined to go down with time because of demand/supply equation. It's nobody's fault that India/China are on the supply side (be it here or there respective countries). Moreover an individual with the will to uproot himself from the other side of the world and come here generally has much stronger zest to make it big than live an average life.
With regard to quality of professionals overall I don't see a marked difference between American and non-American workers. Moreover, I don't think that employers will employ substandard labor just because they are marginally cheap, because it turns out to be more expensive. In all the cases that H1-B and L1 pocket less money than their counterparts the booty goes to middlemen(both Indian and American bodyshps) and not the companies that ultimately use their skills.
What we all need here is a common-sense and honest approach to immigratiion. Also, we must understand that much is driven by forces of capitalism and they are strong enough to find a way, protectionism or no protectionism.

I heard that they stopped giving interim EAD's. So all were asked to apply atleast 3-4 months before other wise status will be lost unless you have valid H1. Not to scare anyone but thats what I read somewhere.
